matching furniture colors

My dining area and sunroom are together. My dining furniture is light oak. Would it be wrong to have a dark brown wicker settee, chairs, and tables in the sunroom?

Mixing woods wouldn't look bad. You can tie the rooms together in so many ways and still mix woods; choose wicker furniture that reflects the shape of the oak furniture;use the same color palette in each room; if you use collectibles in your accessorizing, place a few in each room; use similar cushions, throw pillows and/or window treatments in each room.
