Hi, I need some suggestions on how I can transform my white boring fireplace mantle to a shiny red wood look. We bought the house less than a year a ago, the mantle was painted plain white under a kind a beige color wood. Should I just paint over it with reddish wood like paint color? but there are too many colors to choose from. I want my fireplace mantle to look like the Brazilian wood color, what should I do ? Please help...
