carpet or wood?

I am at the stage in building my home where I need to decide if I want carpet or wood on the floor of my bedroom. I have a 32 by 24 foot master suite- part sitting, area part sleeping area. I wanted carpet for the cozy effect, but am now second guessing myself. We have radiant heat which means the floor will always be warm, but I want to be able to exercise and stretch out on the floor too. We have 2 more bedrooms down stairs which will be carpeted. but the rest of the house is wood and tile. Thanks

i am partial to good quality, cozy carpeting in bedrooms, but, if you are truely unsure, you could always put hardwood around the perimeter of the room, and have carpeting laid within the inner most portion to have the best of both.

I would think that if you wanted your room to feel like a cozy nest, wood is the way to go... after all that's what nests are made of? he he he
