Window Covering

Does Anyone have any ideas on where I can find ideas for window coverings. I have four large windows in my family room that are side by side. My ceiling is vaulted and open to the upstairs. I would like to darken the room but am unsure of what styles to use. I live in the middle of nowhere so a design consultant from a store is most likely out of the question. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks

I am just finishing a window treatment for my 59" x 79" west window. I made a frame of 1/2" pvc, sprayed it black (because that print won't come off those pipes no matter what) and hinged 2 19" sections to a support post on each side. I have covered the frames with contrasting fabric, so when I fold the frames back the other fabric shows. The fabric is velcroed so I can have the panels easily cleaned, or change them. It's been a lot of trial and error, since I designed the project myself. If I did it again, I would make the support posts out of 3/4" pvc. I used 4 cabinet hinges for each frame.
