Tile Backsplash-White subway tile

RLWatl
I'm gearing up to install white subway tiles as a backsplash in my kitchen. What type/style of trim/edging should I use? I've searched online and I was unable to locate photos that show trim/edging. Thanks! I appreciate any suggestions - links and photos would be even more helpful!!

I love the simplicity of white subway tile. They are both modern and classic at the same time, and go with virtually anything, so the possibilities are endless. Have you visited one of those expensive tile stores? They are a great idea resource, and since you'd only be buying enough tile to top off your backsplash, it wouldn't break the bank to shop there. There are some great tiles that look like moulding that could beautifully top off your subway tiles. How about adding a color accent with some mosiac sized glass tiles? If you have stainless steel appliances, how about some stainless tiles? I love the river-rock tiles, and if applied in strips rather than full squares, they could be a very interesting topper.I would definitely locate a store in your area specializing in only tile (not a home depot or lowe's) and you'll get some fabulous ideas there, I promise!

Thanks ju-ju! Great ideas and suggestions I hadn't considered. I'll definitely set some time aside to visit a few local stores.
