Problem Bathroom Walls
Chatty Kathi
I have an older house that has 12x12 aluminum or stainless steel tiles partially covering the bathroom wall (about 4' from the floor). I plan to completely remodel in a year or so, but I'm looking for ideas on how to decorate, paint, faux paint, etc to make them more attractive. Anyone have any ideas? They are really unsightly!!!

Are they TIN? Older homes did not use Aluminum So they could be painted tin or Copper? Is there moldings. If they are indeed metal such as tin or Copper I would try cleaning them, and installing Molding both Chair (above the Panels and Crown) If the panels are Copper your indeed in luck since you can sponge paint the upper walls with accent colors that will enhance the look of the copper while not competing with it. The same also holds true for Tin, since you can use gray and silver tones... right into either white or Black tones.
