Favorite item: Mums, real or silk.New items: thinking of making a new door hanger and or getting some new pottery to put the mums in, gourds, squash, and pumpkins around the pots (for the front of the house), and for the inside, some new throw pillow in deep purple or eggplant, rust or burnt orange, and golden colors, with maybe some beaded fringe. Wrought iron items for interesting accents (either black or dark bronze/rust). Timeless: mums and fall plants/grasses, pumpkins/gourds, scarecrows, hay bales, and rich fall colors for flowers, and swap out accessories inside with fall colors.

Throws and throw pillows in rich autumn colors, and lots of candles in fall candleholders in the living room. I also have a basket that gets filled small pumpkins and gourds. Pictures I have hanging around get replaced by ones with Autumn scenery. A small wooden wagon beside the front door filled with mums of every color. A Welcome doormat with colored leaves on it goes at the door, as well as a wreath on the door. I also have a tart burner that fills the house with scents of fall.
