New patterns for my living room - being brave!

Hi, so I was wondering if anyone had any redecorating experience here and could share some stories with me. I have recently 'de-beiged' my living room as inspired by Ikeas new campaign i saw on the net called 'BE BRAVE, NOT BEIGE'!! here's the site www.bebravenotbeige.co.uk it made me realise how out of date my room was looking, too much taupe and brown and horrible patterns, plus my ex-husbands horrible nicotine stains that he left for me. YUK!!so anyhow, i totally revamped my room and now i feel great! it's like i WANT to come home and bring my friends back here! its bright and cheery and breezy and it makes me feel the same!is it materialistic of me to say the way that my room looks has changed the way i feel?anyway - for my first post i thought i would make it as interesting as poss so i have added in a couple of videos from that site that inspried me to sort myself out! they're pretty funny!BEIGEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2RjVi5rcd0 BRAVE!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fodPbFy6w_Q

No, it is not materialistic to say the redecorating changed the way you feel. A change is always refreshing, especially after a break up or a slump. It's a psychological boost, not a material one. When I need a change, I go buy all new underwear, it boosts your self confidence.
