Need help with need more sitting space.

We moved into a bigger house, and only have one sofa and a chair. They are both matching pieces in a chocolate buffalo leather. The living room is pretty big and need more sitting space, since we tend to have family and friends over often. I want to buy another sofa? But I know I won't find another matching sofa. Any suggestions out there as what color sofa could go with my current one? Or any ideas? I really don't want to buy a whole new living room set as they are in excellent condition. Please help. Oh I have a 2 year old and would like something not too light.

Maybe you could find a couple of chairs in an upholstered pattern with some brown in it, and get a couple of pillows to match and throw on the leather sofa to help blend them together. Not everything has to match exactly and he pattern will help hide any dirt or stains.

What about purchase 2 or 3 ottomans [ottomen?] You could make coordinating simple covers for them, or choose them in colors that coordinate with the existing sofa. Either way, they could double as additional seating, more storage, or place a tray on top and use as additional table surface when not needed for a gathering.
