Master beroom/bathroom paint colors!
just another busy Mom
We are currently adding a Master suite to our home and my decor is mostly shabby chic, with log furniture (a little different I know) Most of my accent color is blue and I was leaning toward a nice brown on three walls and a smokey blue on the wall where the bed will go, which matches the blue in our patchwork quilt. The dilemma is the bathroom which has a glass door so you can see it from the bedroom. Our floor in there is slate in blue and brown and rust colored hues an antique replica vanity cabinet with black granite. Should I find a completely different color or go with the brown or the blue? My brain is frying!

You want to use a color that is in your room particularly a color in your quilt if you intend to keep it. Your color scheme is a happenin one right especially with the chocolates, mocha, aquas and softer greyer blues. Tie your two rooms color schemes together since it is a master suite. They should co-ordinate in style and color. If you are choosing darker wall colors, be sure to keep your woodwork or floors lighter so the room doesn't become too heavy. If you are concerned that you can see your shower door from your bedroom and that it might be a conflicting style or finish, you can always add a curtain and tie it back to one side. Again use fabric to coordinate with your bedcovering or window treatments.
