Door & Trim Paint Color

Shapeshifter78
Hello, all. This is my first post. I'm painting my small guest bedroom, only about 12'X13'. I've chosen a warm gold color and want to paint the trim off white. My question is what color is best to paint the doors? Should they also be gold or should they be white to match the trim. I'm also bringing the ceiling color down onto the walls about 4" and adding some molding to make the room seem taller. Would you paint the molding white like the ceiling and trim, or gold like the walls?

I'd paint the doors white. I'm not sure about the moulding, but my first instinct is to say white.

Thanks Alli, that was my inclination, too. Besides if I don't like the white color on the doors, it will be an easy job to use the wall color paint which is a rich southwestern gold. For sure I'm painting the trim white, it's called Navajo White and is very pretty. I wish some others would post their ideas, too.

I'd paint the door, the trim, baseboards and moldings all the white color, and just the gold on the walls. Closets can often be dim, so you might brighten it up by painting the inside of the closet white also.
