The "best theme decor"? That, I would think, would be a matter of personal taste. This is a difficult question to answer, as any room can look pulled together and be liveable while looking spectacular. A room's decor would need to suit the life & personality of it's owner.

My personal taste is beach/hawaiian style. You can mix and match so many things and end up with a great room using shells and items you can get on your beach vacations. I have been looking at this site recently, The Hawaiian Home, as they items to furnish your whole home. I found some great bedspreads, as I need a new one. I'm just having trouble deciding what one I like the best.

Hi Juanago, I had a look at that site. I like the tropical beds a lot. Especially the Travel Bed... Its different. I like the beach style too, but also the Expat in Africa style. Or even the Hemingway in Spain style.. ;))) Sofia www.mediterranean-lifestyles.com

I have a problem with mixing styles. I love the eclectic look, but I really have a dilemma on my front porch. Because it's summertime and we have a pool, I kind of go for the tropical look. So I have a big tropical wreath on my front porch. Then I bought this big planter with grapes on it, kind of the Tuscan style. It doesn't work on my front porch or my deck near the pool. So I have a mix of tropical and Tuscan. Seems like it's going to have to be one or the other. I need help.

Hello All~ I'm new to this forum but will throw my 2 cents worth in~ I use to like everything to match but have recently come to think it is not as interesting as I'd like. So now I am more into the eclectic look. I don't think there is a "best theme" ...if it's what you like, it's the best.
